Summary
Sitting down waiting had always been Sasha’s specialty.
The grand, empty corridors of the courthouse. The detention classroom, the principal’s office. The hot pavement driveway in Anne’s house, full of chalk drawings, the warm afternoon sun and the laughter that follows.
Now, sitting down waiting has brought her to the front porch of Anne’s house, a finger between the pages of a book that belongs to a girl who’s half-alive.
Marcy isn’t the only one who’s half-alive in this place.

Summary
Sometimes Marcy swore she felt like abducting Anne had been both the greatest and foolish crime of her career.
As if the captain herself was the one held captive to a chokehold; her pretty eyes deeper than the ocean itself in which she'd sink, drown and die. It was all sorts of wrong feeling this way for the princess she was supposed to sell out for ransom.
~Ever since the night two pirates kidnapped her from her castle, stranding her to their ship to be ransomed to the Plantars, fleeing home was all Princess Anne could think of... almost.
Marcy Wu, Captain of the pirate ship, appealing in her own ways, and drowned in the developing soft spot for her captive; opposed to her First mate Sasha, whose distrust towards Anne's intentions only grew with the struggle of keeping her from throwing off their mission. To keep her hardened captain and lover from softening.Impeded by a strange entity lurking in the ship, a secret that one of the girls conceal deep within, inside a mysterious music box. A danger that the princess and pirates must put aside their differences for in order to overcome. And to which Sasha and Marcy's relationship was never the same again.
