Summary
To Julian, being a Bear is odd. Personally, he thinks the Cat and Viper schools’ reputation, they should be the odd ones, but no, it’s Bears. The other schools, Wolfs, Griffin, Crane, and the few Manticore he hears rumors of, are all able to get along (with some grumbling). Maybe it’s an artifact from the days of the mages, subconsciously avoiding the beastly Bears. He doesn't blame them but the path is lonely.
From the other few Witcher’s he’s met, they don’t mean to avoid Bears. And from their reactions, they haven’t or have rarely run into Bear Witchers. Maybe it’s just the kind of contracts Bears tend to take. That thought leads Julian out of his head and back to his current Hunt.

Summary
Vigilantism was a hard life, and his Peter Parker luck always found a way to make it worse for him. Any connections he has are a risk, but he’s also a risk to others.
Nothing is a hundred percent for sure in this life except hardship, being a vigilante was all consuming in his life, and he wasn’t sure who he was outside of it. Thats probably the only reason he hasn’t stoped, he doesn't have much outside of it. Thats ok he was needed, and that’s enough for Peter.
But a small part of him wishes he could have at least one person in his corner.
