Senku was stood there in silence, the counter ticking away in the back of his mind along with the void, but the silence deafened him. Chrome and Kaseki were chattering away about their new build, Gen was taking a stroll somewhere, and Kohaku was off looking for food to prepare for the winter. There was Ryusui, but he had no clue where he went. Everyone was busy doing something. He should be busy too, but he can’t bring himself to do anything. What could possibly be wrong? He had so many ideas for new inventions, new ideas to advance their little kingdom, but that train of thought was immediately cut off. The silence swarmed around him.

Rudo shifts his head from the pillow and slowly looks up at Enjin. He looks tired. Like way more tired than usual. His hands are starting to hurt. Really, really bad. But Regto isn't here to make that hurt go away and he can't show the others his hands because they'll either be disgusted and scared away like everyone on the Sphere or they'll think he's weak and kick him out and Rudo thinks he'd rather deal with the hot, pulsing pain in his hands than either of those outcomes and-
