He released Jekyll’s wrist, gripping his chin and forcing him to look in his eyes.
"Every little piece of you that you wished to expel, made me. But you failed, sweet thing, merely split it between us. Everything you put into me: your anger, your hate, your despair… your lust.” Eyes dropping as a finger brushed over his lips, light enough to be almost imperceptible. Almost. “They’re still the same in you… am I wrong?”

Summary

Bored to tears, Light goes down to the human world to give L his Death Note with the intention of trying out a myth told to him by another Shinigami: that Gods of death can return to their mortal form at the will of the human to whom their Death Note is attached.
