The ornate wall carvings that spoke of Liyue’s history, the delicately inlaid floors which glittered with jewels and painted tiles, the gently sloping stairs which lead up to the Qixing’s study. All were splattered, and in some cases coated, with blood. Zhongli saw the remnants of elemental energy lingered as well, as he knew Baal and Venti could pick out as well. Water was puddled across the grand room, from both the icicles and Hydro, and electricity sparked from every piece of metal visible. Scorch marks blackened the floors and the signature gold of geo shone randomly throughout the area. Worst of all was not the damage done to the gorgeous room, but what had formed those ruby splatters.

What Miles says is: “There’s no way I’m going anywhere with you.”
What he means is: Now I know for sure that you’re lying to me. I don’t have any friends.
When Miles finds himself stuck in a world with no friends, no family, and no memories, the other Spider-people take it upon themselves to bring him home.
