“Only five bars were in there. You still have four to get.” Hojo murmured in Tseng's ear, watching the turk look at the waters in front of him. Without a word Tseng leaned forward again, hands flexing before he was grabbing at the bar that had been used to scrub his mouth. He turned his head to spit it at Hojo’s feet, panting.
“Three.” He rasped out, bubbles forming as he moved his lips from all his dunks and his previous mouth washing. “I have three bars left.” Hojo smirked, moving forward to gently pet his hair. He didn’t say anything more and Tseng looked back at the water again.

It’s not exactly a rescue.
