Zenkichi has been trying to repair his relationship with his daughter now that Owada has finally been arrested for the manslaughter of his wife. Unfortunately, Owada hired a hitman to cover up his own crimes. That hitman is still out there and convinced that Zenkichi is a loose end that needs tying up. After getting cornered with Akane, Zenkichi's only escape is to use the mysterious new app on his phone that the Phantom Thieves keep calling "The MetaNav" to return to the cognitive world and take Akane with him.
Now Zenkichi's running a solo investigation to find any info on the man hunting him down. With his only lead a years-old case with all the evidence long expunged, the odds aren't in Zenkichi's favour. Which man will find which first?

But after Klavier forced Apollo to go to the emergency room, he didn't really have a choice of whether or not to extend the invitation. And Apollo didn't really have a choice of whether or not to accept it.

Summary
After his best friend dies in a tragic workplace accident, Apollo is desperate for an escape. He takes a sabbatical from his law job, packs up his apartment, and moves to his foster father’s old abandoned farm in Stardew Valley. What he’s looking for is a change of scenery, a project he can sink his teeth into to distract himself from the suffocating weight of Clay’s loss. What he finds is Trucy Wright, his teenage neighbour hellbent on inserting herself into his life, and Klavier Gavin, a famous musician who knows exactly what it’s like to want to hide from your problems.
Apollo doesn’t need friends and he certainly doesn’t need a boyfriend. If he doesn’t let anyone get close, then he won’t get hurt again when they inevitably leave him behind. Besides, he only intends to stay on the farm for a couple of seasons anyway. Why allow himself to get attached to people he’s only going to lose? Why fall for Klavier when he’s only going to break his heart?
However, as Apollo will soon learn, time really does heal all wounds, and love has a way of taking root whether you want it to or not.

It is cruel of the Fates, to allow them to grow so close, to seat them next to one another, and yet keep them so far apart. Melinoë can see the knob of Icarus's wrist, the rise and fall of his knuckles, the neat line of his fingernails. She can see the way his hands shake, slightly, before he balls them into fists. She can see them, but she can’t touch them–she can’t feel for herself the warmth of his skin, or the smooth line of the scar beside his thumb, or simply soothe him, palm-to-palm. Were she to try, her hand would pass through as though he were merely an illusion.
Melinoë wants, so desperately, to be able to hold his hand.

Summary
Apollo thinks of the Phantom, the nameless ghost who took his best friend, and hesitates for only a moment before he chucks his bottle as hard as he can, channeling his anger, his pain, and his sorrow into the throw. It doesn’t quite hit the center, but he doesn’t think it’s too bad of a shot, considering he already feels a bit buzzed. He feels himself laugh and it feels good, but he isn’t sure whether it’s because he’s let out the pent up angst or because of the man next to him who’s smiling oh-so-softly as he takes Apollo by the hand again back to the bar.

After Apollo spontaneously decides to stay in Khura’in, it’s no surprise that he’s left some things behind, so the WAA takes it upon themselves to pack up a box of items he needs. Klavier's addition: a hand-written letter squeezed into the side as a gentle reminder that, even though they tease one another, he does care for Herr Forehead’s well being and hopes he’s doing well in his new home halfway across the world.

In a moment, Klavier will play the opening notes of Trucy’s chosen fanfare and the show will start. The sound of enthusiastic clapping and Rayfa’s astonished “Pohlunka!” will almost drown out the sound of Vongole and Shah’do’s barking as Trucy pulls a startled Mikeko from her magic panties. And when it is over, Klavier will catch one of his hands in his own, pulling him behind the screen of the parachute curtain to place a firm and fond kiss at the edge of Apollo’s laughing mouth.
But for now, Apollo stands on the little stage, looking out with an undeniable feeling of warmth spreading through him that has very little to do with lingering embarrassment. Maybe Khura’in has changed him, too.
