The sound of his own name from the mouth of his advisor seemed to stun Rassilon, but he turned resolutely away and continued on. "Methinks you speak too freely, my friend. A lesser man would take offense at your cheek."
"A lesser man is not so blessed to have me."
"I mean it." Rassilon had quite the stare, ferocious even though the kohl around his eyes was obviously there to mask the purple of insomnia, if one looked closely enough. "It would serve me to have you by my side for this business. Do not embarrass me."
On a dark desert night, Rassilon and his friends are gathered to dispose of a traitor in Lord Omega's company.
Among them is his new advisor, a nameless, faceless, gentle being with no taste for violence.
