Hayato hums an absent affirmative. His eyes are on the little yellow box's visual display. He is, somehow, still typing with his free hand. The awful beeping continues.
Ryoma's whole face burns with a much less pleasant heat than the one Benkei's touch brought. He levers himself half out of Benkei's lap and jabs a finger at Hayato. "Stop fucking pointing a Geiger counter at us!"

Summary
Kukri kept sending me media about “Robbing the Hood” and telling me to watch it, that I’d understand what was going on better if I did, but I had no interest in watching people rob Hoods, whatever those were. I didn’t like robbing in real life (I did it because I had to not because I wanted to) and I doubted I’d like it in media.
Shortly after hacking its governor module, a rogue SecUnit is involved in an ill-fated space battle and finds itself alone save for the company of a mourning raider ship bot pilot. It would like to spend the rest of its life watching media in what remains of the ship's crew quarters, but it turns out that "the rest of its life" wouldn't be long at all without the money to pay for proper maintenance. There seems to be only one way to get that money.

Conan stares. “But you’d drink arsenic?”
“It is tea that Furuya-kun brewed for me,” Shuuichi points out reasonably. “It’s quite unfortunate to pour it down the drain. But I suppose I have to.”
“Because it’s not arsenic,” Conan says, voice a little blank.
“Because it’s not arsenic,” Shuuichi says with a nod.
Furuya has attempted to murder Shuuichi quite a few times. That may be part of the reason why Shuuichi doesn’t quite care.
