Nagisa continued to stare at him as they walked, head tilting. “…Huh?”
Karma snorted a little, shoving his hands in his pockets. “The girls are practically swooning since you cut your hair. The guys look envious. Apparently, you’re too pretty to handle.”
The words came out with more bite than he’d intended, but he still wasn’t jealous.
“And that makes you angry…because…?” Nagisa trailed off, hoping to encourage more from his boyfriend.
Karma grumbled. “Not angry, just…” Just what? What was he feeling if not jealous? “…nescient.”
Nagisa looked even more baffled than before.
OR: Karma doesn't really see Nagisa for his looks. At all. What he also fails to see is that Nagisa wouldn't want it any other way.

Summary
Shiota Nagisa liked Akabane Karma.
It wasn’t a shocking revelation, to say the least. Nagisa had realized it after the Save or Kill fight; precisely, on the trip back from space. What he felt for Karma wasn’t any familiar sort of platonic fondness, it extended beyond friendship. The tint of his cheeks, the burning sensation on his neck, the way anything that came out of Karma’s mouth had his mind in a chokehold. It was all too obvious– how could he not realize it when his heart felt like it was going to burst at every bump of the knee, every shared look, every touch.
He didn’t think much of it, since it was an inevitable conclusion. Shiota Nagisa liked Akabane Karma more than a friend, so what? It’s not as if there was any chance that Karma reciprocated.
Akabane Karma would not like Shiota Nagisa– he doesn’t.
