Summary
Azure kinda expected to end up in Hell.
For some people it might be a surprise, but sometimes, you just kinda know where you’re going to end up. He tried to do good, mostly, but he knew his ideals probably weren’t what Buddist would call those of a good person.
Of course his regrets are mostly that his plans didn’t work out. The ends justify the means, yes, but only if you actually reach the ends you were trying to get. Which more often than not, doesn’t pan out.
Besides, he did commit a lot of murders.
So Hell was where he expected to end up.
This didn’t seem like Hell.
OR- Azure Lion, the Spider Demons, and Lady Bone Demon are all given the task of watching and protecting MK from the afterlife. But with only limited powers and MK's mental health worsening, there's only so much they can do.
Especially when one of them doesn't have the same altruistic motivations as the rest.

It had never meant to go this way. Schlatt was supposed to get better, not fall back down into old, nasty habits. If he had not gone to that party, if he had just taken someone with him, everything could have been avoided. Maybe he would have been able to actually get better. And now, the bitter resentment of Quckity burns him, the indifference that Fundy gives, and the disillusion, disbelief that Tubbo, his own son, makes trying to get better a lot harder. Especially when everyone had given up on him, and he had wasted his second chance. Especially since his health is getting worse.
