Summary
The Cloud Recesses Guest Lectures were held every three years for disciples between the ages of fifteen and eighteen. They had three purposes.
The first (and the reason it was hosted by the Lan) was to provide a shared baseline understanding of the core cultivation topics that underpinned every sect while not divulging clan-specific approaches.
The second was to create opportunities for friendships and alliances that would reduce the chance of war between the clans.
The third, and most important, was for the clans to replenish their bloodline by finding compatible mates with strong cultivation skills. In the last month of the lectures, challenges to test compatibility could be issued.
Wei Wuxian challenges Lan Wangji, sure that they are compatible mates. The Lan refuse to allow the Challenge.

Suguru was wearing some sort of an oversized sleep shirt that he probably either borrowed from Satoru or it was his own and if it really was Satoru’s shirt, that little thief, Satoru didn't mind though.
His shirt had ridden all the way up to the middle of his back, exposing the smooth dip of his spine and the obscene swell of his hips and below that—
Were those fucking panties that Suguru wore?
Fuck, Suguru was wearing panties.
Or where,
satoru knows that more or less he exceeds limits sometimes just to get his own way with many things but he thinks that maybe getting dango with his best friend in a shitty and cheap hotel room after an exhausting mission wasn't really something that should be limited to him.

Summary
