    Will’s life has always been full of questions and short on answers.

    Then Mike shows up in New York on Will’s 25th birthday, after months of silence, bringing a whole new set of them.

    Why is he back? Why did he leave? What happened in London? And after everything that happened before Mike disappeared, can their friendship ever be the same?

    But every answer only creates another question.

    Old memories start to look different. Buried feelings refuse to stay buried. And the more Will learns, the less certain he becomes about everything he thought he knew.

    Maybe some questions were answered years ago.

    Or maybe he’ll always be left with the biggest one:

    What if?

     

    OR: pretty much a “quarter-life-crisis” saga about growing up, regret, miscommunication, and finding your way back to each other.

    Set mostly in New York in 1996-ish. Post-college. Everyone is alive.
