Summary
Merlin is an ancient warlock with trust issues and a shapeshifting problem. Arthur is an ex-king who sometimes turns into a bird and isn’t especially happy about it. Mordred is a teenage runaway hoping for some magic lessons--and oh, yeah, he may or may not have tried to kill them both in a past life. Well, isn’t this awkward. Also known as “the sorta-Ladyhawke AU”, wherein there are curses, reincarnations and lots of Post-It notes.

Summary
"You...Are Emrys?" Arthur asked slowly. He turned to look back at Merlin who only offered a bright smile in return. It wasn't comforting. In fact, Arthur was fairly certain it was the same smile he gave when he returned Arthur's dirty laundry and tried to insist he washed it.
"I am." The man nodded solemnly "Though you may call me Alator."
Arthur had to fight to keep his face completely blank. Right. Fine. Okay. He held up a finger before gesturing Mordred a bit closer. The knight shuffled to his side, leaning in so he could hear when Arthur started whispering.
"What did this prophecy you keep mentioning say again?" He asked and when Mordred opened his mouth, held up a hand. "About me and Emrys."
"Oh," Mordred said and shrugged "You fall in love with him."
Arthur slowly turned back to Alator. Then back to Mordred.
"...are you sure?"
Or
Alator lives. This sets off a series of events that include: Mordred coming forward as a druid, Arthur learning of the existence of Emrys, Merlin asking Alator to please pretend to be Emrys, Alator agreeing, and Mordred deciding the best revenge is convincing Arthur that he is destined to fall in love with a man older than his father.

"Mordred, I had no choice with Kara and you know that given your recent behavior I've been lenient-"
"I'm resisting." Mordred whispered and put two fingers to his temple. Arthur scowled.
"My voice is causing you pain? Now you're just being childish and-"
"Resisting. So hard. The pain. Ah."

"Can't this be done quicker with magic?"

Summary
“You give off the obnoxious popular vibe. The mullet, and the rap sheet, and—the fingerless gloves,” Lance replies, and barrels on before Keith can take it the wrong way. “I’m so handsome, my name’s Keith and I’m a pilot.”
“That sounds more like a compliment than an insult,” Keith says slowly, a disdainful quirk to his eyebrows that only spurs Lance on. He tilts his head a bit, his bangs shadowing his face, like he’s assessing a particularly impossible physics problem. “And I don’t like that voice you’re using.”

Bookmarker's Notes
“I’ve been kissed,” he says, as solemn as anything he ever says. He dabs at the corners of his mouth with his napkin-bib. “I’ve been married.”
And for whatever reason, Lance’s first thought: if he secretly got married to Allura behind everyone’s backs, it would be the ultimate betrayal, there would be no forgiveness. But Keith doesn’t leave him hanging in that worst case scenario for long.
“In primary school. It was quite serious,” he says. Lance can’t tell if he’s trying to be funny, or just being his own strange self. “We had personalized vows.”
***
He makes not even a semblance of a kissy-face, which Lance had been looking forward to if only for some comic relief from the butterflies in his stomach. Though he does jut his chin up a little, it’s less funny and more—earth shattering. Good thing we’re not on Earth.
***
For a second, Lance thinks he couldn’t actually kiss those lips, not without the sky falling, or the world opening up beneath him and swallowing him whole, or his very own body combusting from the inside out.

they're so fucking stupid

Summary
"Lance summoned his Bayard.
Aim. Breathe. Shoot.
The resounding shot echoed in his ears. Except it wasn’t from his gun.
Lance’s legs gave out before he even realized what’d happened. He’d been shot. Square in his right ass cheek."
...
Lance McClain, Blue Paladin and Red Lion Pilot, has survived many trials out in space: Strenuous battles, relentless pining over Keith Kogane, being shot in truly embarrassing places ... but when he ends up on a solo mission it may prove to be his hardest challenge yet. Especially since he's stuck on a planet that doesn't even like Voltron. But it can't be any harder than trying to reconnect with Keith (who's been extra closed off since his returned from the Quantum Abyss), can it?
What results is many laughs ... and many tears.
