Summary
Even before, Sam always felt like people didn't really know him. They thought of him as a man-child, as immature, when there was really a lot more to him. But now, with his father gone, everything hurts so much more. Sam doesn't think he can keep putting on a fake smile. Perhaps he may find comfort in his friends, and his very special relationship with Sebastian.

Summary
And now Sebastian is here, standing at the edge of his entire world, just a few moments before the sun would set, the wind singing a piercing, familiar song as it gusts against his back. It was all perfectly planned out, down to the minute. So why did Sam's voice have to go and fuck it all up?

Summary
Sam’s eyes lit up when he won the minigame, earning a few coins as a result. Which was fair, because Sebastian hadn’t been paying any attention to the game.
"Hey Seb", Sam began, grabbing a gummy worm from the plastic bag in front of them. Sebastian hummed, while rolling his dice. Four. Not enough to reach the next star, but far enough to give him an advantage.
"Let’s play a game", Sam suggested. Sebastian raised his eyebrow. "We’re already playing a game", he deadpanned, "in fact, we have been doing so for the past five hours."
Sam ignored him. "I think", he paused dramatically, his eyes landing on Sebastian, who froze under his gaze, not able to look away from the vibrant green that painted them so lively.

Summary
But god was he enthralled. Sebastian had a habit of biting his lips when he was at a loss for words, just as he was doing now— an upper lip, caught between canines, grew red from irritation and would soon draw blood.
And they were lips never to press against his own. He did not know if he would be able to handle the fact. Of course, he’d have to, but oh, how he wanted to reach out, skim his fingers along a jaw, and ask, ever so quietly, like he was afraid-
“Can I kiss you?”
