Bruce has always been… unconventional. He wasn't given a very good hand in the first place, with everything he's gone through it's no wonder he's a bit different. It’s too hot, so hot, Clark needs to get his suit off right this instant. He kicks at his boots before pressing the crest on his chest. The whole thing slinks back in and condenses, he puts the charm on the metal table beside him and feels like he can finally breathe.
He’s only slightly panting. The room glows red, the monitors brightness the only light unaffected. He feels what he thinks is best closely described as drunk. Or delirious. Whichever shoe fits. The haze over his mind is slowly starting to fade.
