Personal synopsis, spoilers ahead.
Do i know anything about the LOTR?? Unfortunately, no </3 Trying to freeball these character's names and learn them as i went with their lore and personalities and practically everything about them already being there was a tad bit odd, but i would be lying to tell you it wasn't fun
But, do i know anything about TOZ? ohhh you bet your ass i do!!!! i'm truly so infatuated with the ways author wrote Link and his mutism, and i can really appreciate that they actually stuck with it for this fic! I know some authors prefer to write him semi-verbal but its such a treat seeing somebody make him totally non-verbal. I love to see it!!! I'm also so fond of how Link took to Elvin traditions and customs like he grew up with them,, because in a way he did!! He could see the shape of the Kokiri in them but also appreciate the new things it introduces as well for him! he's familiar with this because he grew up with this, and bro it was so tear jerking to see it bc omg he's finally getting a break!! He's finally getting some semblance of what its like to be a normal person!!! MY LITTLE GUY GETS TO REST FINALLY...
errr i mean... for the first 8 or so chapters LMAO. His dreams got crushed a little when he got adopted into the royal family by total accident and then almost got assassinated for it. lowkey i think that put a damper on any sort of normality he could have had lol, sorry little buddy
Genuinely i adore how Link interacts with the dwarves and how they interact with him in kind. Dude they're here on low hopes and low will to get this trade shit sorted and theres just this elf child wanting to make friends with them and listen to their music. Oh and did i say elf child yet? Yeah well also the kid is ROYALTY. Link doing everything in his abilities to befriend them while they were trying so so hard to usher him away so they dont cause a political nightmare was a really fun read ilyyyy
I can't get over how wonderful this was to read, and genuinely the things i would do to get to reread this again with a new mind... you dont wanna know..........
Like actually getting to read Link ignite his passion for the culture the elves show him and how he can see that culture in the same light as he once did growing up with something similar with the Kokiri. But also it was brought up that Link did face struggles for not having his fairy at the normal age, and got bullied and picked on for it as well. It was really refreshing to see them get addressed! :D even if it was from Link's total bias and his not repressed feelings on the matter lol
omfg speaking of bias's....... bro the things i felt towards Zelda during the reading of this fic could have killed a lesser man and ykw that lesser man may be me. bro... i needed her GONE yesteryear she makes me want to grab her by the sruff of her stupid royal dress and throw her into the sun. SISTER WHAT DO YOU MEAN YOU LOCKED LINK UP IN WHAT WAS LITERALLY A CAGE FOR 70 YEARS AND MADE HIM IMMORTAL JUST TO KEEP THE PEACE OF THE KINGDOM. GET OUT OF HERE!!!!!!! ZELDA YOU NEED TO WATCH YOUR BACK...
oh anyway,, and did i mention the joy of joys that was the discovery to the other elves that Link is very likely an avatar to a goddess... did i mention that yet.........
OHH GOD THIS FIC IS SO DELECTIBLE I NEED IT BOUND SO I CAN READ IT AT ALL TIMES... AUTHOR I ADORE YOU

lowkey haven't touched the webtoon since late 2018 and this fic was a massive kick to the back to read it again and woooo boy!! I did not have fun!!! cried a bit actually but that doesn't matter rn
this fic is so so good... the character dynamics are perfect. Like actually perfect! The banter between Kody and Lumine was a really fun read and i was really interested to view Kody's thought process during chapter one and two, especially chapter two ohh my god. Kody being in shock for a good lot of the chapter, then being thrusted into an entirely foreign city where most of everyone is hostile or cautious towards you because of your species was so jaw clenching bc they deserve BETTER. LITERALLY EVERYONE DOES??
anyway i missed them. i missed my sons and i love them with my whole heart. Ily author never go bald or stub your toe. maybe when i have more brain power i'll add more of my thoughts for this !!

its so cute so far,, moonberry will always have my heart they're just so stupid
i'm so curious as to know why Astro is unknown to both Sprout and Cosmo despite him having lived in the town for as long as he claims! It's just a cute little mystery and intrigue that i'm positive is going to gnaw at Sprout during this fic lmao

Like a cereal number on the sole of a gardamechs foot, obedience was ingrained into Freminets very soul ever since he could confidently call the house of the Hearth his home.
But now that he had been sent far, far away from his home though, "some" things were bound to change ...
In the meantime, the iudex of Fontaine is buried in a mountains worth of paperwork and meetings after the flood left the nation of justice in shambles. To say he was tired would be an understatement.

Do i think this fic will update? I actually don't know, but a girl can dream
Firstly, wonderful writing and characterization. Genuinely its so good! I adore Neuvillette's and Furina's banter in chapter 4, they're so siblings to me i need them to explode. (Author please don't take notes)
Chapter 5... my god. idk if author wanted their readers dead or smth but GOD it was such a hard read. Ngl i lost count of how many times i just had to stare desolately at my screen like a i was reading my own death certificate, and i especially lost track on how many times i desperately wanted to have Dottore's head on a pike, each and every one of them. There isn't a day that goes by where i don't pray upon his downfall <33.
Man the disconnect between the Segments just flat out not giving a shit and bickering like they weren't destroying Freminet's life in real time and literally changing his biology was just about the death of me. And thats not even mentioning the lab notes...Secondly, hollyyy shit I need Freminet to go feral NOW!! i need him to get the hell out of dodge and him to get back home into the arms of his family. Dude the hurt/comfort that's literally begging to happen with Lynette and Lyney is gutting me, as well as the inevitable fallout that comes from the fact Arlecchino practically tossed him off to Dottore for some yet-to-be-known reason. there is seriously not a world i can think of where the siblings would take that lightly, even if this is their 'Father'.
Neuvillette and his reaction to seeing Freminet as the new Cryo Dragon Sovereign is going to be so good i feel it in my bones (Unlike the old Cryo Sovereign, who now seems to lack... well. Basically everything LMAO)
Ngl i'm not too sure on how anybody would react to finding out that not only is their family member(?) dead, but now a Fontainian child possesses the powers of said dead family member, all probably in one sitting too! So idk have fun Neuvillette. It'll be a fun ride for everyone!! (Not)
I have super super high hopes for how the rest of this is going to play out! I love the direction its going :D

If by "ancient terror" one assumes the less-popular definition of "annoying narrator-ghost princet of monsterkind who is now, unfortunately, permanently stuck in their head."
Chara doesn't want to be awake. They especially don't want to be helpless in the back of a bloodthirsty human's head, watching them ruin the only home they've ever known with no power other than their voice to fight back with. Luckily for them, that's not what's happening at all. Unluckily for them, they may have to re-evaluate a few things about their worldview. Which, for someone as set in their ways as them, is not an easy thing to do.
(Then there's the matter of the weird flower, Frisk's unusual powers, and the Longest of Long Days the underground has ever seen.)Chara & Frisk no player AU true pacifist. Completed!

I cried like a little bitch while reading this. I haven't even been in the Undertale fandom since i was a kid, and this is the first long length i saw that interested me enough to read, I'm not sure if that was a mistake or not lmao
54 chapters of some of the most beautiful character interactions I've ever seen, it was honestly so jarring to think all the things that take place in this fic was just over the course of the day lol
Chara's snark and the banter shared with Frisk was so fun, it felt so genuine and it came off feeling like a conversation i can perfectly picture two emotionally scarred kids havingkinda felt like author looked at that car meme where the doorman slaps it: 'look at how much trauma this bad boy can take!' In reference to Chara and Frisk and idk if i'd have it any other way
this is such a good read, and its never to be read if you're listening to anything gut wrenching. It will destroy you, trust!
