This, however, had long since instilled in Hirashi a sense of duty toward him, and she had decided that finding Akaashi a partner would become her life's mission. She had already proposed a few dates to Akaashi, but Akaashi had politely rejected them all, simply saying he wasn't interested.
This had been before, it had been during the days when Akaashi was 100% Akaashi. It had been Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays.
Unfortunately, this had never happened on Wednesdays, when Akaashi only felt 20% Akaashi, leaving the other 80% at the mercy of other people's follies and proposals.
So when Hirashi returned that Wednesday, radiant with coffees in hand and saying he'd found "someone absolutely perfect for you," Akaashi wasn't quick to decline the offer and found himself in less than two minutes having to mark a Sunday night dinner with a certain Marushima Ryu in his diary. "You'll see, you'll love it!"

Walking among the still faded rows, Dan's gaze was caught by a sudden spark. It was a bud of pure yellow, a fragile miracle that ignored the frost around it to bloom with touching boldness. Dan knelt before the tangle of branches to study the flowers up close, which he immediately recognized as Winter Jasmine, which typically blooms around early February. He delicately touched the petals with his fingertips, while the image of the fresh bouquets that had been placed on his bedside table during his time in the hospital crept into his mind.

"And...?" Osamu advanced, leaning toward him. "Are there any other important relationships in your life?" His cheeks flushed slightly.

So it wasn't obvious to everyone.
"I..." Akaashi let his gaze wander around the room, searching for the salt-and-pepper head. "No," he said finally. "If we exclude my family, of course." He took a sip from his glass, looking back at Osamu and taking a moment to study him better. He was objectively very handsome, and also very nice and easy to talk to. Akaashi thought he'd never spent an entire evening chatting with anyone other than Bokuto. And that it actually distracted him from constantly thinking about Bokuto.or
Atsumu is tired of the pining between Akaashi and Bokuto, so he asks his brother Osamu to come with them for a drink after the game, just to stir things up a bit.
