There's a claim of no more additions, but that seems to have been wrong in the past. And it's marked No for Complete so...It's a bittersweet ending for the first part. Which I had read in a bookmark before reading and then felt myself believing it wouldn't be true. So fucking good. And it did get even more hopeful endings in the later parts <3
Harry acts like an actual child. And I love him for it. Severus is trying his damnedest. And I love him for it. I also love all the OCs. Even the less than friendly ones

I knew going into it that it was probably going to hurt starting a WIP that hasn't been updated in almost a year but it's so damn good and worth it. And the promises from the author that this will be completed no matter how long it takes (1 more chapter! I think) and the fact that there's a sequel planned makes it even more worth it.
Snape doesn't become instantly nice but also doesn't piss me off with his obtuseness for too long. And Harry isn't instantly divulging all his secrets. There's a very nice balance.
I'll just reread it if I forget too many facts or for the hell of it before future additions or chapters.

-4/17/2026: For anyone interested, this fic will never be finished. All of the files that I had for the digital art for this fic are gone. My hard drive being stolen, along with other backups, plus a computer crash, has completely wiped them out. I would not be able to recreate them. I will not mark it as complete since it is not. I had more plans for this fic, including a crossover but...oh well.
