There, in some shadowy corners of the internet, safely behind the veil of anonymity, detractors of the current regime express their reasonable and principled opposition to Betterment rule.
This is not one of those corners. Opposition, you can find in droves, but reason is in short supply.

After minting a small fortune for the purchase of antiques, Zhongli gets slapped with tax fraud charges that, due to a poor cover up attempt by an ever helpful Childe, blows up into accusations of money laundering for the Fatui. Yanfei and the adepti are pulled in and court shenanigans ensue.

Love Languages mixes medical drama, cultural exploration, and slice-of-life-esque healing-with-kindness to make a story that unflinching faces the ugly parts of the NoP universe, and answers the question of 'what if we could do something about it'? It is well-founded in understood science and grounds itself and the world it is in solidly because of it, without getting caught on the normal hard-scifi hangups. While the core story is wonderful, it also explores variety by including side stories of people who committed these miseries, and gives us a glimpse into how normality can be different from different perspectives.
