Summary
Snewsye and Nimun, having just been run out of the Mangkwan Clan, find the human out post hours after Jake made the RDA leave back to earth. Spider, having been found in an empty storage closet only a couple months old, is facing a dire dilemma: he has no food to survive. There are no Omaticaya mothers with young children to have any milk to feed him and Neytiri isn’t far enough along to give any. Snewsye, while trying to wash the ash from her past, hears Spider’s pitiful cries through the metal walls. She finds a small, pink baby with hair the color of the sun and decides, “this small pink thing is mine now”
Norm and the other scientists, frightened of her Mangkwan war paint and sharp smile, call Jake to come investigate- only for him find her mate trying to enter in to see his new son.
Will they allow them to help or will they just have to force their way in?OR: I really like the stories with Spider finally being adopted by the Sully’s after he literally almost gets murdered by Neytiri and Jake… BUT I want spider to have weird, possessive parents so that he knows he’s loved. My time on Pandora is confusing at best. When I left Earth, I was barely 20, no family, and no money to my name. I was in my last semester of my two measly years of college before the RDA swept in and offered a job opportunity about 4.5 light years away. I got lucky, I’d graduated at the end of May, and two weeks later I was shipped out.
