Summary
After two years of living in the barracks, during morning rotation Aban Wudsten — better known as Stone — is put under Mage's Tower duty, where he'd been torn between anticipation and dread to work. The High Mage under King Walters’s employ had a reputation for a nasty temper and a sharp tongue, often haranguing the maids and the occasional guard whenever he felt needlessly bothered. He couldn't imagine the Mage being all that bad, but with as daunting a reputation preceding him, Aban couldn't help being cautious.
He was not expecting the Mage to be exactly his type and so much more.

Summary
The first few moments of wakefulness were lost to Aban in hazy moments full of smoke and burnt wires, cut by extended instances of a vast nothing. He pieced certain events together later—getting knocked unconscious in the fight against the hedgehog and his friends, coming to inside a crumpled and abandoned mech cockpit and clawing his way out of something gelatinous and carrying the reek of denatured plastic polymers, stumbling into overcast daylight after weaving near-blind through darkness broken by intermittent pulses of green LEDs—but everything else was all an educated guess. Pinpoints of data connected by fragile filaments of interrupted synapses to infer the whole.
The first memory to firmly encode itself into the various regions of his brain was one he would rather forget, naturally.

Summary
Ivo hates winter.
The festive clamor is too much on his senses. Winter should be peaceful and quiet, yet he's constantly bombarded with tinsel and shimmering baubles and trinkets, and so much green and red and white he could choke on it.
At least his labs are safe from such trifling things.
That is, he thought so, until he catches Stone stringing fir garlands around his desk and rummaging through a small box of decorations set lightly upon its surface.
"Stone," he hisses, "just what do you think you're doing, bringing that kind of insipient frippery into my labs?"

“Uh, you okay there?” Robert asked.
Phenomaman hummed. “Indeed, I was simply thinking…would you be willing to show me?”
“Show you?” Robert echoed. “Show you what, exactly?”
“Show me how to make love,” Phenomaman continued. “Properly. The human way.”
Robert’s brain short-circuited. As he stared at Phenomaman, his eyes wide, he did his best to comprehend the larger man’s statement.
“You want me to have intercourse with you,” Robert said.

Summary
Robert thought about doing it right then and there, dropping to his knees in front of all the security cameras, just to see how Waterboy might react. But if he was down on his knees, looking up, he would have to face just how much bigger than him the boy was. Though he had a perpetual slouch, at his full height, he was massive. At least vertically. Robert couldn’t help himself from straightening up a little to compensate, but it was no use. The truth was, tippy toes couldn’t make him any taller, and after the coma, he couldn’t make up for it with muscle mass anymore. Better to have him laying down, that way he could be above him for once.
So that's how they ended up squashed into Robert’s apartment, Waterboy drenching the bedsheets in a way that shouldn’t have been attractive at all. But something about the thought of the boy being perpetually “wet” was really doing it for Robert, so he chose to just not question it.or: Robert takes waterboy back to his apartment to blow... off some steam.

Summary
It’s a funny story, actually, how Stone ended up working for Robotnik for as long as he has. Most of his predecessors didn’t piece together the whole ‘vampire’ thing until they were on the business end of the Doctor’s fangs, but Robotnik didn’t keep asking for them because he wanted an easy meal. He just needed someone to invite him into buildings, and he kept getting sick of the other ones.
Stone loves his job. He really does.
