Summary
The explosion had claimed countless lives, and even weeks later, the sound of metal impacting against shattered windows still echoed through every street of Piltover. The aftermath was nothing short of catastrophic, shattering the stability of the Council and igniting a bloodthirsty desire for revenge. At the same time, a flaming ambition for independence and the hunger to fill the power vacuum left by the Lord of the Undercity gave rise to the imminent specter of war. Both nations stood at the edge, staring into the abyss, their hands itching to make the first move, to claim their first victory. Even if it meant sacrificing their sense of justice and the two symbols who embodied its philosophy and principles, further fueling the conflict.

Always driving me mad, perhaps since I was eleven or twelve. I really don’t remember.”-
OR
Caitlyn is grieveing over her older brother. My girl deserves that.

-“I really believed she’d help.”- A sarcastic chuckle went out of her throat. Fuck. In shame, her tone lowered, as her heart sunk too. -“Say it. You told me so. I was an idiot to trust her, I went behind your back, I-” As much as she didn’t want to say it out loud, denying it at this point would be stupid. -“I choose wrong every time. And because of it, I´ve lost everyone.”- Silence invaded the room. The enforcer set foot in the cell.
OR
I just wanted Caitlyn to apologize to Vi. Ik she did non-verbally but idc.

Summary
“Do you think we'll ever get through to her?”
“Everyone meets their breaking point eventually.” At Zoey's worried frown, Mira’s expression softened. She leaned down to kiss her forehead. “Don't worry, we'll be there to catch her when she falls.”
-
Mira's attempt at a spiel about love and friendship and unbreakable bonds turned to ash on her tongue.
“Rumi. Rumi, no.”
Rumi inched closer to the rail.
“Rumi, please don’t.”
Zoey’s foot moved.
Rumi leapt.

I LOVED THISSSS
Polytrix, what if AU (kinda)
I think it was one of the best written fics you can find out there. All of the characters are beautifully written, Rumi is devastatingly human, and, kinda random, but I loved the symbolism of the patterns. 100% recommend if you want buckets of angst.

Summary
For Hermione Granger, Eighth Year was about rebuilding herself. Her life most certainly wasn’t supposed to be torn upside down by Pansy Parkinson. And her career was even less supposed to get ruined by old romance and ghosts from the past.
When life gives you cherry sweets, you bite. And if their sourness makes you grimace at first, the sweetness gets you addicted.
But even if the euphoria is great, every high has a crash.

This is my favorite fanfic. That’s it.
Pansmione, Seventh Year at Hogwarts.
It is fucking beautiful. Both Hermione and Pansy are really flawed, they fuck up constantly, and that’s what makes it so special. It had a really big impact on my life and I’ll always love it no matter what.
If you want to read something completely real, an slowburn that makes you want to slap both and then hug ‘em, this is it. Search no more.

Summary
Finally, Zoey blurted it out, voice soft but sharp:
“Have you ever thought of… something besides monogamy?”
Mira’s thumb stilled on the screen. She looked up, slow. “…What?”
Zoey’s hands twisted in her lap. “Like—not open relationships. Just… not just one person. Have you ever thought about being with more than one person and it still being okay?”
She wasn’t looking at Mira. Her voice was tight, like it hurt to speak. Mira watched her with a furrowed brow, still quiet.
“I feel so guilty all the time. Because I love you, Mira. I love you, and this doesn’t change that, but I see her and I want to make her smile and I want her to hold my hand and I think she’s beautiful and weird and sweet and I—”
She finally looked up, tears shining in her eyes.
“I think I ruined us. And I’m so sorry.”
Mira just stared at her. Wide-eyed. Silent.
Zoey’s heart dropped. “Say something.”
Mira exhaled like she’d been holding her breath for a month.
Then she visibly deflated—shoulders dropping, head tilting back against the wall—and let out a quiet, choked laugh.
“…Oh thank god.”
or.
Rumi moves in with two strangers and they fall in love boom

Yeah, so people weren’t exaggerating when they said this was fucking awesome…
Polytrix, College AU
Probably my favorite KPDH fic out there. The author is a genius, every reference is perfect, every character is flawed, mental health issues are beautiful and raw… and the list just goes on.
If you want a fic that can make you laugh and five seconds later make you bawl your eyes out, this is for you!

Summary
On the eve of their 8th Idol Award win, Huntr/x decides to get absolutely drunk. This leads to one of the worst experiences ever for Rumi, and leaves Mira and Zoey to try and pick up the broken pieces of their girlfriend.
Major Trigger Warning: Please use the tags to gauge if you can read this fic. I won't be upset if you skip it over. More tags might be added later on.

Polytryx, Rape/non-con
I loved how the author wrote metal health issues and their relationship. It’s honestly amazing and if you’re looking for some 70% angst, 30% comfort, It’s honestly one of the best out there!
