On closer inspection, the square becomes a cabin. A picturesque wooden cabin with a bright blue door and intricately carved window shutters. Sam eyes it suspiciously. He looks around at the densely packed woods, the trees huddled close like sentries, and thinks, This shouldn’t be here.
“You don’t think this is like, a witch’s forest do you?” he asks.
“What I think, is that you are delirious with cold.”
“Actually, it’s kinda sexist that we say wizards instead of witches. In the big three. Witches are totally a thing, so don’t even start with me. Wanda’s a witch. I think.”
“Definitely hypothermic,” Bucky says, and starts walking towards the front door.

Summary
Two hours in and Sam is on his third beer, his paper plate is full of crusts, and they have yet to start playing the game.
Across the coffee table Bucky stares down at his character creation sheet, gnawing on the back of his pen, his face scrunched in concentration, and that’s when it hits Sam: James Buchanan Barnes, Captain America’s right hand man, Howling Commando, Winter Soldier, White Wolf, bane of Hydra and steering wheels everywhere, is a capital N nerd.

Summary
It had been a long time since the bat signal called Jason. A long time since that particular beacon had anything to do with him. He stuck to his streets. Dealt with Black Mask and Penguin and Two-Face when it suited him.
Jason perched on rooftops and fire escapes and kept his eyes on the ground. He listened to police scanners and hacked into the Bats' comms.
He didn't look up.
He remembered it, though. The rush of adrenaline when he'd spot the bat illuminated in the sky. As Robin, it meant an adventure was to be had. It meant purpose. Magic.

Summary
The Red Hood, for some indiscernible reason, reminds Bucky of Steve.
The guy definitely shouldn't make him think of Steve. And Stevie would be appalled at the comparison. Hell, Stevie's not real thrilled about Hill sending Bucky to try and recruit the Red Hood in the first place, citing the man's penchant for shooting anyone who pisses him off, a duffle bag full of heads, and brutal fights with Batman over the last three years.

Jason succumbs to a magical aliment while on a mission with the Outlaws. Normally, this wouldn’t be a problem. It’s not the first-time magic has tried to mess with him. (and it certainly won’t be the last, that’s for sure.) Just give him a couple days. He’ll be fine.

Summary
He figured it was natural, kind of—well, not natural, but he and Steve spent a lot of time together, and Steve didn’t get so much attention from girls, which was a crying shame because he was a good guy and a girl could do a lot worse. But it meant maybe Steve got a bit confused, because sometimes he would look at Bucky with this look. This bright, astonished look, like he was seeing something so good he couldn’t quite believe it was real. It made Bucky squirm inside, a little.
