Isagi, for his part, had stopped panicking quite so much. He still turned a shade of violent red each morning, still mumbled apologies, but the frantic energy had subsided. He'd simply sigh, untangle himself (or be untangled, depending on who he was with), and make his way back to his own bed, trying to scrub away the lingering scent of someone else’s sheets. It had become a bizarre, unspoken ritual within Blue Lock. Isagi, the sleepwalker. The boy who just inexplicably ended up in everyone’s beds.

Bachira shook his head, his own confusion mounting, a knot tightening in his stomach. "But… but you're my friend. We're a team." He took another careful step, his voice soft, almost pleading. "Come on, let's get you back to the infirmary. You need to get that arm cleaned up. They'll know what to do." He genuinely believed in the staff, in the system, in the logic of Blue Lock, and in their friendship.
But Isagi, He took a step towards Bachira, his posture menacing, almost threatening. "You're just a distraction. Always have been. Always will be." His words were cold, cutting, imbued with a strange, chilling conviction. "Go bother someone else, Bachira. I'm busy. And I certainly don't need your pointless energy right now."
"Damn, that hoe was annoying," Isagi muttered, pushing open the bathroom door and stepping back into the sterile hallway.

In fact, his heart was so full of love for the teal eyed boy in front of him, it was going to overflow.
Rin’s eyes flickered down toward him.
Seeing Isagi like this, on his knees, pathetic, shoulders tense, hands gripping the bed. It made something twist unpleasantly in his chest.
But he didn’t show it.
“I loved you,” Isagi repeated, voice cracking. “I still love you. A lot. I swear I do.”
His fingers curled into the sheets. His voice completely devoid of lies.
“I know I messed up,” he continued desperately. “I know I hurt you. I know what I did was disgusting but that doesn’t mean I didn’t love you—”
Rin’s jaw tightened. Stupid. Stupid. Stupid Isagi.
Why does he still feel this way? Why does he still care about the same person who ripped his heart out and stomped on it?
Isagi looked like he was barely holding himself together.
And Rin felt his chest curl in disgust.
