    Damian crept away from the main part of the cave to the locker room so he could shower, stretch out his wings, and get out of his sweaty, soot-covered costume. He could never fully get the smell of fire out of his nose, but he couldn’t stand it when it started to get on his clothes.

    The lack of any nosy gray wolves immediately following him and invading his privacy must have meant that Dick hadn’t noticed Damian sneaking away. Distraction success.
