Wangji stood stupefied by the introduction, a god? Why were they bowing down to him? Stupefied and at a loss for words he just nodded. “Mn.”
“Oh! Look San Lang! He did it!!” The white clad god said excitedly pulling his husband’s sleeve, for a heartbreaking second his mind morphed the figure into his beautiful Wei Ying. His expression he so closely guarded should have failed him momentarily, judging by the sorry look Xie Lian gave him.
“Do you want to save him?”Wei Wuxian, son of Heaven and hell alike. Cursed to live his life in misery. To bring misfortune to his loved ones and ultimately die young, his soul shattered never to reincarnate again.

In that moment Wei Wuxian was overcome with pleasure as his vision was taken by a blinding white light and what may have been the faintest sound of a bell.
First off, there was definitely a bell, and it was ridiculously loud, ruining his post coital moment. Also, his bare back was no longer on the soft bed of the Jingshi but smooth marble. Not to mention Lan Wangji had gone rigid on top of him, and not in a good way.
Or: LWJ meets a god and a ghost king on his way to the Burial Mounds after the sunshot campaign. 20 years later, he and WWX ascend to the heavens together in the middle of their everydays. Chaos ensues.

Summary
Jiang Cheng dies protecting Jin Ling on a night hunt and wakes up fifteen years old at Lotus Pier, two years before it burns.
