Summary
Shang Houhua dies at the ripe old age of 27, electrocuted to death after spilling cup ramen onto his keyboard. A death as embarrassing as it was painful, but at least a blessedly quick way to go.
Shang Houhua, later renamed Shang Qinghua by his shizun upon promotion to head disciple, dies at the age of 98 to a blade taken for the king he served.
Uchiha Houhua is born screaming.
Reincarnated into the role of Uchiha Izumi as “thanks” for his excellent service in the role of Shang Qinghua, Qinghua only has one mission— to “grow close to the character of Uchiha Itachi, then die on his blade to further his guilt.”
The catch? After that, there will be no 4th life.
With death fast approaching and little to no way out, Qinghua— now Houhua, scrambles to find a way to somehow escape the Uchiha massacre, as well as earn that next life from the system by managing to become an “important” character in the narrative.

The main character is transported sometime in April 2021, before Bloodline came out (since that was when I began on the story). As such, he has no awareness of canon knowledge after Wintersteel. However, knowledge from after Wintersteel still plays a role in the story, characters, plot, and worldbuilding, which presents a thin line of a path that the main character has to figure out on his own.---

SI's knowledge stops at Uncrowned. Major Minor diversions happen--Big for characters but not so much for Fate. The stations of canon feel fresh and new, like you've never been on this end of the station before or seen it from this angle.
Some really really great extrapolation and exploration of canon. Like, oh shit, ofc there's soulfire in ghostwater, duh

ON TEMPORARY HIATUS
After being forced to leave his manor for the first time in almost two hundred years - stupid doctors orders - Lucifer finds himself in the company of a sex worker named Angel Dust, the first Sinner he's talk to in a very long time.
Through a series of events where the King of Hell actually finds himself liking the Sinner, Lucifer is given the news that he has to attend a royal function with the Goetia family, the Deadly Sins, and the other fallen angel alone for the first time since Lilith left him.
Unwilling to attend alone as he navigates a plot to dethrone him, Lucifer offers Angel the job of being his date for the next month.
Based loosely off the 1990 Pretty Woman movie.

And as her final ‘please’ hung in the air, the Devil’s expression changed one more time. Like how his perfectly blank expression revealed every previous emotion on his face to be nothing more than a painted mask for others to see, now even that blank canvas was stripped away to show what was truly underneath - a black despair, fathomless beyond mortal comprehension, resembling nothing so much as that crawling void she had glimpsed a lifetime ago at the heart of Hell.
“I…can’t,” Lucifer said simply.
And then he was gone. No flicker of magic or flash of a portal. Just gone.
Or: Charlie herself is Lucifer's greatest lie, because the truth is too terrible to bear.
