Summary
Sanji pulls his thumb from his mouth to run it under the water. It’s freezing and his thumb stings awfully as he holds it there. The cut is deeper than he thought. Maybe worth a visit to Chopper. That will put his dinner plans on hold until whatever needs to happen happens; be it glue or stitches or a higher grade bandage than what Sanji keeps inside his kitchen.
His blood runs cold as he realises that he isn’t as bothered by all of this as he ought to be.

After disposing of the raid suit, Sanji starts to spiral as he worries that he is turning into something he desperately wants not to be. In an effort not to let Sora's sacrifice be in vain, he battles with himself and denial while trying to hide his concerns from a crew who know him well enough to see when he is not as okay as he pretends to be.

Usopp frowned, and he looked over his makeshift radio to peer inquisitively at Sanji, who’d stopped his motions in the kitchens to glare at the sharpshooter. “The radio? Why? I love this song!”

Usopp can't fathom why Sanji has such a problem with his recently acquired music taste. Just because he comes from the North Blue doesn't mean he gets to gatekeep the whole language!

Summary
Sanji hears the explosion in the early evening. It's not very close — somewhere on the island, for sure, but not close enough to shake the house itself. He tilts his head towards it, pauses for a moment from slicing scallions, but doesn't pay it much more mind than that.
Things explode all the time, around Big Mom and her family. So long as they're nowhere near him or anything important to him, Sanji does his best not to think about it. That's not his place.
It becomes his problem when, five minutes later, Pudding shoulders open the door to his rooms, anger licking off her like flames. Sanji carefully places his knife to the side and turns to face her. She crowds him against the counter, glaring.
"Did you know about this?" she demands in a hiss, leaning forward. “Are you in on whatever hairbrained scheme they're trying to pull off right now? Do you have fucking contact with them?"
In a slightly different world, Sanji is made even more his mother's son.

Summary
It didn’t take not one week on the Going Merry for the rest of the crew to realize that Sanji was the only member who knew how to tie a tie. He wore one practically everyday; it was like a Sanji Staple. Why would anyone else ever need to know how?
Eventually, Sanji came to terms with his lost cause of a crew and actually turned the situation into something positive for himself. Just like he loved being able to provide for the crew in the form of cooking, he was able to provide for them in the form of… tying ties when they needed him to?
