Hitoshi doesn't know how long he's been running for.
The wind is beating at the uncovered parts of his face, pounding into opened skin and freezing over burning blood. The blood is thick, droplets rolling down his face and over the metal as he pushes against the air, plowing through it like a bullet, running just as fast as one. He runs on shaking legs, trembling legs. His feet are marred and scarred, the blood covering the spread-apart flesh and the rocks that have embedded themselves in those narrow caverns. If he stopped to think, it's possible he can feel the pebbles in his feet, but he can't stop.
He can't stop until he finds Eraserhead.
He can't stop until he gets help.
He can't stop until he can save Izuku.
And so he keeps on running.
