Summary
March is about to say something sweet in return, only for Stelle to interrupt with a decidedly ominous, "I've got it."
Dan Heng rolls his eyes. "Let's hear it."
The triumphant look on Stelle's face is a bad sign. "You aren't unavailable," she declares. "You're taken! You've got a secret lover back in Xianzhou, haven't you?"
The idea of Dan Heng in a relationship is not something March can even visualise. "Yeah, right, imagine-"
Wait. The look in Dan Heng's eyes… no way that's embarrassment. Maybe longing- no, Aeons, that's worse.
Stelle sums up the matter very eloquently, in March's opinion:
"Woahhhh. Really?"
Or: Dan Heng is a stupid yearner, but he also has the best friends in the world

Summary
Normally, Blade wouldn’t have picked up the call, but he was feeling a bit extra self-destructive after his breakup three weeks ago, so picking up potential solicitation calls was not the worst thing he could be doing.
“Perfect,” the customer service representative on the other side of the call said, his chipper voice not faltering in the least. “I just wanted to let you know that a tow truck will be on its way within the next thirty minutes, so please make sure to stay by your vehicle in the meantime.”
What.
--
While recovering from a breakup and studying for midterms, Blade has to deal with Silver Wolf totaling his car and the possibility that his ex-boyfriend has already moved on.

Summary
"You wanna kiss me?"
Ren froze.
The words weren’t sharp. They weren’t cutting or cocky.
They were worse.
Soft. Wondering. Said like an observation more than a question like Dan Heng had turned the thought over once, twice, and simply decided to say it aloud.
When Ren dared to look up, Dan Heng was already watching him — thoughtful, almost teasing, with that unreadable glint in his sharp, fox-like eyes.
Like he knew. Like he’d always known.
And Ren, throat tight, words low, answered, “Someday.”
