He hadn't been able to work for days. The tremble in his hands hadn't taken long to appear, barely noticeable but devastating to his work, making the lines shake and the shapes distort. His left hand was permanently affixed to his temples in a fruitless attempt to relieve the constant, ever-present pain.
A pain that left his stomach in knots and his brain a haze.At another time the forced break might have been good, enjoyable even. Giving him more time to spend with his family, relaxing, cooking.
Instead it just robbed him of his singular form of escape, leaving him aimless and exhausted. In too much pain to do anything.--

Dazai tried to suppress a wince as the light flicked on in the cleaning broom closet he'd quickly stashed himself away in. Not that it made much of a difference, given his current state. Head sandwiched so tightly between his knees, hands buried so deep in his hair, as if collapsing into himself would help alleviate the agonizing pain that radiated through his whole skull, travelling down his jaw and neck, muscles so tense it felt like he'd break at any moment.

Owen sighed as he walked down the halls of Goldsmith's place.
He hadn't particularly wanted to spend his morning dealing with the elder's sired, but here he was.The elder hadn’t told him much. He knew the young Pyro was being ‘punished’ for something, but he didn't know what it was. Or what this punishment entailed exactly.
Taking the key out of his pocket, he unlocked the door where Pyro was being kept.
He didn't know quite what to do with the sight in front of him upon entry.
