Summary
Hornet, in her infinite (scientific) wisdom, decided to plug in and test the Weaver device she found. In a flash of light, she found herself back in Hallownest, in a time where the infection wasn't even a figment of a dream to most. In order to change things, all she has to do is kill a god. She did that once already, how hard could it be to do a second time?

Summary
When a mysterious voice begins to haunt Hornet and the still recovering Hollow Knight in their dreams, they go to the Abyss searching truth.
The good news: little Ghost survived after all and even became a god.
The bad news: somehow the Pale King is back from the dead.
The even worse news: the voice comes back to haunt them and tells them to travel beyond the borders of Hallownest to seek the Locusts - a nomadic tribe of ill repute. Since the voice refuses to leave them alone, they pack their bags and go on that perilous journey.

Summary
Ten years.
Clover has been trapped in a loop of running through all the different routes of Undertale Yellow for ten real-time years.
Then, during one of the thousands of hateful massacres that have played out, something changes.
Right at the end of the bloodsoaked path, unable to suppress a guilt gnawing at them from within, Clover turns their gun on the yellow flower a touch early.
The gunslinger fights Flowey with an equal level of Determination. The save file is damaged in the crossfire, and the save system is destroyed.The data corruption sends Clover through the void, all the way back to just outside Mt. Ebott, and also ages the gunslinger as well as the world itself by ten years.
While in the void, he sees fragments of events in the other routes, and a vision of a person he's never met before trapped in a certain laboratory.Burdened by the weight of his sins from his last journey, and armed with a vastly more mature body and mind, the fully grown cowboy decides he has to do things differently this time.
No more SAVEs. No more LOADs. No more RESETs.
All actions have permanent, irreversible consequences.

When Hornet's siblings track her captors all the way from Hallownest and follow her down the cliffs of Pharloom, the goal of her journey through the kingdom changes from 'make it back to siblings as quickly as possible' to 'take siblings on a field trip through this new kingdom and let them help discover the secrets of the Citadel.'
