Summary
On this particular night, the full moon shone down, illuminating the city in a hazy glow. The warmth of street lamps, of the Eiffel Tower, decorated the cool skyline.
The breeze was chilly, eliciting goosebumps to raise on her bare arms. Marinette breathed it in, allowing it to fill her lungs entirely, before she slowly breathed out with a faint smile.
Waking up as Marinette Dupain-Cheng, of all people, wasn't exactly the worst. At least, that's what she thought before the world decided to prove her wrong by throwing out everything she thought she knew. Between actually risking her life on the daily in a war she never wanted to join, trying to untangle a frankly overcomplicated one-sided love square without, y'know, ruining everything, and attempting to live her 'normal' life on top of that- let's just say, Marinette's got a lot on her plate.

Summary
Ever since Adrien got his father and mothers rings, he felt.... Free. It was like he could think for himself freely. That he could choose things for himself without worrying about others.
He was happy. He had a lovely girlfriend, he had Nathalie who was like a mother to him. He had friends, he had ladybug, he had plagg.
Everything was amazing..... right?
He tried to convince himself but things just don't fit.
How was his father a hero when he knew his father would send him to a psych ward of all places before his death.
And why did Marinette know so much? HOW did she know so much?
Things don't add up.
Maybe the reappearance of an old enemy is where he can get his answers.
(Author Note- in canon they are around 15, but for the purposes of this story and it’s themes, the ages of everything is upped. So origins happened when they were 15-16, and currently they’re going 16-17. So 2 years older than canon)

Chloé Bourgeois had finally escaped (ran away from) Paris and made a life for herself in New York (Her mother and Noé were ruining her life, but c'est la vie). It was fine, she was much better away from the city of constant Akumatisations, but karma isn’t done with her yet. Sent two years back in time for unknown reasons, she’s dragged into a Paris she thought she’d left behind and handed the Bee Miraculous with no guarantee she’s ready to wield it. With knowledge of the future, zero allies, and a kwami who doesn’t know her yet, Chloé' is quite frankly Paris's only hope.

Donnie has everything perfectly under control. Sure, sometimes he hears the voices of those who aren't there, and sometimes he's not in control of his own body- but those are easy fixes. He's fine, dare he say even better than fine! He's so fine that he even constructed a portal to other dimensions in case the Krang come back! It's not like he worked endlessly, almost obsessively, over the portal for days, missing sleep and family trying to talk to him.
He's fine!
He's even fine when the portal swallows him whole and spits him out into a new universe with nothing but his battle shell and clocking broach.
One with alternate versions of him and his brothers, just starting out and fighting their own version of Kraang and bad guys. He's even fine when he gets dragged into their upcoming battles and fights. He's going to get home anyway; what's the harm in helping out his alternate family fight against Kraang?
