Once Abel has gotten used to being in charge of the Circus, he summons the humans to the stage to explain how things are going to work around here now. He uses Caine to help explain *just* how different things are going to be.
Pomni never liked Caine all that much, but that doesn't mean she wants to watch him be *whipped* and *tortured*.

An alternate route of episode 8 where Caine never gets mad and snaps, and the cast actually manage to remove his admin permissions instead of deleting him.
The Circus can’t function without a ringmaster however, so someone else steps up to fill that role.

Summary
This is a fanfic heavily inspired by an AU called Backup AU by katzebruh on X and other socials. I just want to say a big thank you to katze for creating this wonderful au and for being so helpful when I had some questions about it. They did say that I’m allowed to add any headcanons/interpretations, so hey, that’s what I’ll do!
The story takes place in episode 8, and then the story continues to the AU events. It’s best if you read the og comics first, but I tried my best to introduce everything smoothly. Have fun reading:)
