Summary
Decades ago, Grian and the other Watchers were defeated by the Listeners and cast down from Heaven. Since then, Grian has been living like a regular human, without the almost omnipotent powers of an angel. Grian was fine with this. If only everyone shared his humility.
"And all shall be smitten with fear, and the Watchers shall quake, and great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth."

Summary
The portal was beautiful. It was like looking at the night, shimmering white and cyan stars against an endless dark sky.
It called to her.
“~Join us Gem~” She could have sworn it whispered in her ear.
Cautiously, she reached out for the portal. It was a harmless curiosity, right? She knew she couldn't be teleported to The End unless she jumped in fully.
Her fingers brushed the surface.
The Void pulled her arm in.A AU/ retelling of Gem's life series where the Watchers have claimed Gem, controlling her and consuming her as he fights to be free.
This starts at session 3 of Secret Life, onwards through all of Secret, Wild and Past Life!

Summary
Grian pushed a finger into his eye cavity. The digit rooted around in the darkness, a half torn off nail scratched blindly at the walls, searching for the pinprick of white light. He wanted to squish it like a bug. His lungs were full of an entire night sky; he held his breath to focus. His eye wells were deeper than they appeared—as he reached in his wrist disappeared, the cuff of his elbow, too—he was afraid he would fold in on himself if he went further. That pinprick was indelible.
^^^^^
The thing was, Grian died.
Which meant he was back at the Watchers. Hermitcraft was merely an interlude. That was what they promised him. However, Grian couldn’t accept such an untimely end, so he pleaded for another go, no matter the consequences. Strangely, the Watchers allow it, as long as he follow one caveat.
Or: Grian has to reveal the worst parts of himself. It doesn’t go well.
