Summary
Having narrowly escaped relegation, AFC Richmond dreams of rising to the very top, Jamie and Roy struggle to navigate their new secret relationship, and Jamie’s dad threatens to destroy their fragile happiness. Jamie has to learn the hard way that he’s not alone anymore, and needs to find the strength and courage to ask for help.
~*~
“He’s my dad,” Jamie says weakly, trying to explain what he knows is irrational behavior. He knows he doesn’t owe his dad anything, not his time or money or respect. “It’s easier this way.”
Roy slowly wraps his arms around Jamie from behind, pulling him back against the warmth of his chest. Jamie rests limply there, letting Roy take some of his weight. “I don’t fucking understand, Jamie.”
Jamie nods miserably. “I know. But he’ll leave me alone for a while now.”
Roy sighs heavily, his breath warming the side of Jamie’s neck. “What would he have done, if I wasn’t here?” he asks, clearly choosing his words carefully.
Jamie shrugs again. He wraps his hands around Roy’s arms, keeping him there. Roy leans his head against Jamie’s, holding him tight.

Summary
Eddie moves before Buck can blink—one smooth, unhesitating motion. His hands find Buck’s waist first, then slide lower, bracing under his thighs as he lifts. The world tilts, and for a second Buck feels weightless, the heat of Eddie’s palms searing through denim, the strength behind it dizzying against Buck’s already crumbling composure.
Then the counter meets him—cool beneath his thighs even through the fabric—Eddie’s hands leaving heat in their wake like a brand. Eddie’s still standing close enough that Buck’s knees frame him, not backing away immediately. His breath grazes Buck’s chest, eyes flicking up, the space between them charged with something that makes every cell in Buck’s body scream more, more, more.
“Now sit,” Eddie says firmly, hands still resting under Buck’s legs before he finally backs away. “Stay.”
Or,
Eddie picks Buck up, Buck is totally cool and normal about the whole thing.- Language:

Summary
The guy’s hand drops to Buck’s waist and grips it—tight.
Eddie doesn’t mean to say anything. Honestly. He’s planning on standing there like a sane person, drinking his beer, minding his own business.
But that hand stays exactly where it shouldn’t, and Buck laughs like he doesn’t feel it, and the words slip out before Eddie even knows he’s opened his mouth.
“Oh fuck no.”
Or,
After Buck's friend bails on him, he invites Eddie to come with him to a themed event at a bar - a gay bar, as it turns out. After watching Buck flirt all night, Eddie takes matters into his own hands and shows Buck who he really belongs to.Bookmarked by Shinybug

Summary
The picture on the back is a dark tree line contrasted by the wide blue sky above it. It’s faded, like it has taken one too many trips in the back of a mail truck, tattered and worn.
Eddie flips it over, the back scrawled with quick but somewhat neat handwriting. Scanning the words his eyes drop to the corner—the address.
‘Maddie Kendall, 1500 Hemlock Ave, Hershey, PA 17033’
Or,
An AU where Buck's postcards, which he sent to Maddie, were forwarded to Eddie on deployment by mistake. He becomes attached to the man behind the letters and his stories of his travels. Until, by a twist of fate, they bring him face to face with Buck himself.- Language:

Summary
"What— what do you see?"
"I see," Eddie says, measured, careful, "someone who looks like he wanted somebody to see him like that."
Buck's whole body goes hot.
"And I'm trying to decide," Eddie continues, slower now, his breath heavier, "whether I'm allowed to be that somebody."
The hand on Buck's thigh has migrated upward. He notices it three seconds after it happens, his palm now resting flat against his own stomach where his shirt has rucked up, fingers splayed across the skin. The touch of his own hand on his own body in this context is sending a current up his spine that he is, evidently, helpless to stop.
"Eddie." Buck's voice cracks. "Are you— are you jerking off to my photo?"
The pause is brief but loaded, and when Eddie answers it’s barely recognizable, every word landing somewhere in the south of Buck's body with a measurable physical impact.
"You send me a picture like that, Buck. What am I supposed to do?"

Summary
Eddie stood with his forearms resting against the metal rail, a beer bottle hanging loosely from one hand as he looked out over the city lights stretching endlessly across Los Angeles. From behind, he looked almost exactly the way he always did whenever he needed space to think.
"You know you're missing the party, right?" Eddie let out a quiet scoff and the reaction immediately caught Buck off guard.
Buck frowned slightly but decided to keep going. "What? Hiding from your mystery bidder?"
For a moment, Eddie didn't answer. Then he said, without looking at him, "Shouldn't you be with your hot firefighter?"
OR
Eddie thinks he's questioning his sexuality. Buck thinks he's losing his best friend. Neither of them is entirely right.
