“I’m sorry…” He wheezed, squeezing his hand so hard that Wolfwood could hear his bones creak. He didn’t even flinch, listening to what the other had to say.
“I thought you were dying… You were dying! What was I supposed to do? Say that I love you? That I want to spend my tomorrows with you? Beg not to leave me? You know that I couldn’t! I wanted you to rest with no regrets-” He broke off with a sob.
Or, Wolfwood gets a second chance at life and sets off to find Vash. Little does he know what awaits him once he does.
