There's dead silence for days, no one has told him anything. No one has called him.
He knows why. He feels why. If Katsuki had been okay, he would’ve called him.
He lays numbly on Bakugo’s bed, taking in the scent of him before it’s gone completely. He wears his shirts, his hoodies, and finds out exactly how many Bakugo has stolen from him over the years.
He’s freezing, possibly for the first time in his life. Even with his arms wrapped around himself.
It’s not the same, he’s so cold without him.

Bakugo confesses his love to Kirishima over the phone during a mission he thinks he won’t survive.

When that day finally came you packed up your life and headed out of the city you had called home for 21 years. With no family remaining, and a community needing your aid, the choice was simple, if not daunting. You were going to live on the mountain, you were going to survive and you were going to be the Warden in the North.

Summary
Bakugo nearly falls through the door when it opens. Kirishima, Red Riot, comes into focus, and his eyes flash with fear, maybe a little worry before masking themselves back into the stone-cold red that Bakugo’s used to seeing. Maybe the concern was just a trick of the light, maybe something that Bakugo’s adrenaline-infused mind just made up.
He could kill me easily, Bakugo thinks. Or he could just let me die.
But as his pain-addled mind debates those outcomes as well as it can, Kirishima is doing none of those things, and is hoisting him up gently so Bakugo’s weight can comfortably rest on him as his feet lift off of the floor.
“Who got you?” Are the words out of Kirishima’s mouth, soft yet filled with anger; and then, quieter: "I'll kill them."
in which pro hero bakugo shows up at red riot's door, injured, in the middle of the night. kirishima takes care of him.- Language:
