Summary
Theo spends his time after hell trying to stay alive. He keeps Liam in check, tries to not think about why he cares so much, and avoids contact to anyone as best as possible.
When suddenly a random werewolf asks for his help, and refuses to accept anyone else but him, his perspective on life shifts and Theo is forced to acknowledge that maybe he doesn’t hate company as much as he claims to.

Theo is a lying liar who lies and he's fine with that, thanks. Or at least he was. You know, before Peter went and stuck his nose into his business and fucking ruined everything.
Or, the one where Theo is dragged kicking and screaming into telling the truth not just to everyone and not just to Liam but also to himself.

“I’m just worried about you. Why d'you want to go to Derek’s? You don’t even like him.”
Theo’s mouth turned down. “What does that have to do with anything?” He started to rethink Liam being smarter than the rest of McCall Pack. “And what do you mean you’re worried about me?” he snapped before Liam could open his mouth again. “There’s nothing to worry about so just quit it, alright?”
Honestly, this kid. Liam could see a butterfly fly by and would probably start worrying about it if he stopped and thought about it long enough.

Summary
It wasn’t a secret that Theo didn’t really eat much and Liam hated it but he understood why. When Theo was homeless he didn’t really have the money to buy food so he just went hungry. It was the same with the dread doctors; they often forgot to feed their test subjects unless they needed to be fed for an experiment so Theo was used to going hungry and not recognising when he was hungry. Theo genuinely forgets that food is important and the human body needs it so Liam has resorted to buying the chimera snacks to encourage him to eat more and always having some spicy ramen in the cupboards.
