After everything, Arthur and John finally have time to figure out how to get John his own body. It isn't a pleasant process. It turns out that having a fragment of a god excised from your mind has some side-effects, and being a fragment of a god suddenly resident in a human ex-corpse isn't particularly straightforward either.
They'll help each other through it. They always do.

Once the rain is no longer directly assaulting them, Olruggio casts a fire for light and warmth and gets out his rings.
He dries Qifrey first, though it doesn’t cease his shivering. It’s not just from the cold. They both know that.
“Are you okay, Master Qifrey?”
“Hm? Why wouldn't I be?”

There are a lot of things Qifrey doesn't know; words, social conventions, theory.. but maybe he did, once. Before it was stolen from him. Olruggio helps him fill in the blanks as best he can
In Which: Qifrey contemplates the fuzz of his thoughts and Olruggio indulges and spoils him far too much
