Out of nowhere, Ubuyashiki is gone. Replaced by this new, mysterious woman, and Giyu quickly finds himself entranced by her.
The other Hashira can’t help but feel like somethings off, and begin trying to figure out whats really going on.
Meanwhile, Tanjiro cant help but feel Giyu isn’t the same man he knew anymore.

Summary
In the modern day, Tomioka Giyuu worked through the night on his student reports, then had a regular breakfast with his sister.
In the Taishou era, Tomioka Giyuu reunited with the Kamados on Mount Natagumo, and was put on trial at an expedited Hashira meeting.
Then, abruptly, they were thrown into each other's bodies. Modern-day Giyuu stood in the middle of the Hashira meeting and. Froze. Said nothing. And nobody noticed.
Months upon months later, the Hashira are slowly realizing that perhaps the Water Hashira isn't the Water Hashira. -

There was nothing flamboyant or flashy about the way the Water Pillar seemed to drift aimlessly. But there was an unheard sound beyond the still waters of the Water Pillar’s outer exterior—something soft, something dulcet, something Uzui could not place his finger on. If being raised as a shinobi taught Tengen anything worthwhile, it would be to observe and listen. And if that’s what it took to decode Giyuu Tomioka, you better believe that’s damn well what he’s going to do.
