Summary
“Glad to hear it.” Nami leaned against the counter, watching as Vivi gathered her things. She waited, a slight glint in her eyes. “So… what days are you thinking about coming by next time?”
Vivi paused, sensing the question wasn’t just casual. She looked up, smirking a little. “Why? Already that interested in me?”
Nami laughed, arching an eyebrow as she leaned in just a bit closer. “Very modest, aren’t you?” she teased, but her gaze didn’t waver. “But yeah… I think I am interested.”
Her words hung between them, and Vivi felt her heartbeat skip as she watched Nami bite her bottom lip slightly, eyes giving her an unmistakable once-over. It’d been a while since anyone had looked at her quite like that, and she felt her cheeks grow warm as she tucked a stray strand of hair behind her ear, letting out a small, nervous laugh.
“Well… I should be around Thursday and Saturday,” Vivi replied, her voice wavering just a little.
“Good to know.” Nami smiled, lingering just a moment longer. “I’ll be looking forward to it, then.”

She wants a life on the sea, where there is easy conversation and playful bickering as they go from island to island, wreaking havoc wherever they go.
She wants the late Tuesday evenings spent reading books with Nami. She wants the soft break of dawn as she and Zoro keep watch. She wants the midnights spent with flowing conversation and bodies huddled under blankets.

Summary
Nami knew what she was doing was selfish. She should have go back to Arlong Park weeks ago. Instead, Nami stayed with Luffy and Zoro for a day longer every day, unable to bring herself to leave them just yet. And no matter how hard she tried to convince herself that she was only staying with them to use them, Nami knew the truth.
She had finally found people she wanted to stay with and she couldn't.

Nami is celebrating her birthday with two idiots in the middle of the ocean. It's the best birthday of her life.
