Summary
He knew that it was dangerous, putting on a suit and throwing himself at murderous robots when no one was asking him to, but he had these powers and he had a responsibility to help people. And also… he was incredibly selfish. It was just intoxicating. Being somewhere where everyone saw him as a man, where he wasn't misgendered, where his suit covered up all the parts he hated most about himself and allowed himself to just be… himself.
No one else knew he felt like this. He'd thought about mentioning it to May so many times, but… he didn't know how to do that to her. He looked just like his mom, he'd been told, and he knew that May saw him as her own. As the daughter she'd never had. How could he take that from her?

Summary
It was no secret that Tony was a workaholic. He started working on a new bit of tech, and he just didn’t stop. Not for food, not for drinks, not for sleep. In fact, nine times out of ten, the only thing that could rouse Tony from his inventing trance, was someone else - normally Peter or Rhodey - coming to get him. Tony tried to argue that he wasn’t a workaholic, that designing wasn’t work, but it was, and he was, and however much he argued that was the truth.
Luckily for him, he had a massive family - and more than a few bots - who cared about him, and were more than happy to step in and help, when he wasn’t helping himself.

The fifth part of my All Alone series. You could technically read this on it's own, but will probably make more sense if you've read the other parts first.

What happens to a still traumatized Peter when the comms cut out in the middle of a mission?
He does not have a fun time, that is for sure.

A sequel to my whumptober work "My Way Or The Highway" and yes I'm aware I wrote that five months ago, I'm still getting this out of my google drive. I'm sorry the tags are a mess, I'm bad at explaining things.

Peter sat down on the bed in the middle of the room Tony had just shown him to, staring around in open mouthed wonder as he tried to figure out what he was seeing. He knew logically that this was exactly what a room in the palace would look like, but sitting here, in reality, with the four walls of the palace around him, he couldn't believe it.
The floor was covered in the softest rug Peter had ever stood on, every wall painted a light cream that wasn't peeling at all, not even near the ceiling. The bed took up most of one wall, and was bigger than any bedroom Peter had ever had, never mind any bed he'd ever slept in. It was so big he could starfish across it without touching any edges. The covers were the softest thing Peter had ever touched, thick enough it felt like it was going to swallow him up as he flopped backwards.
The entire room is the nicest thing Peter had ever seen, and it made him feel almost guilty.

Summary
Peter Parker hated his life.
That morning at school, their teacher had announced that they were going on a field trip. She hadn't said where they were going, just that it was going to be super exciting, and they didn't want to miss it.
Of course, that was why Peter was being forced to miss it.
He had missed too many homework due dates - it wasn't his fault he had been so busy Spidermanning that he had forgotten to put them in his bag - and apparently the punishment for that was missing the trip.

Summary
The elevator dinged loudly, the doors sweeping open revealing the hallway which Peter knew lead to the Avengers living room. The entire elevator was frozen in shock, all of them glancing at each other as they waited for someone to move.
Jaws dropped as Peter stepped out and started walking down the corridor until one brave soul decided to speak up, apparently realising that they were the only one who was going to try and stop the teenager from going where he wasn’t supposed to.
“Young man, are you aware of what level we are on?” they asked, and Peter bodily winced at the title of young man. No one called anyone a young man unless they were an old person, or they had no idea how to talk to teenagers.

Summary
Third part of my "All Alone" series. Could be read as a standalone, but it probably won't make much sense if you don't read the other two first.
*~*
Tony remembered being vanished. Remembered being dragged out of time and space and hidden somewhere else. And yet at the same time, he didn't.
It was weird, to say the least. Like he'd known exactly what was going on the entire time, yet had also known nothing at all.
He'd been aware time was passing outside of the empty bubble that surrounded him, and yet he'd had no idea how long it'd been. He'd been aware that he wasn't alone, but he'd had no idea who was with him. He'd been aware that he was supposed to be somewhere important, but he'd had no idea where.
*~* OR *~*
Peter managed to get everyone back, and everything is perfect, but then Tony notices that his kid has not been looking after himself. Movie nights and cuddles follow.

Summary
A continuation of my Whumptober fic "Where did everybody go" which is the first part of the All Alone series.
*~*
Peter had barely slept for weeks. If he was sleeping then he wasn't searching, and if he wasn't searching then he wasn't getting any closer to getting everybody back, and he just couldn't do that. He needed them back, and if that meant he forwent sleep for a couple of weeks to do it, then fine, that's what he would do.
He just needed his family back.
Peter sighed as he flipped the paper on the table, searching through it while he waited for FRIDAY to get back to him from her own search. Peter was looking for any stories on new villains seen on the streets, or anyone asking for help, or anything that could possibly give him anything close to a clue, and he had FRIDAY looking for the same thing.
He had moved himself into the compound full time, he told himself it was because FRIDAY was there, and it had better resources, he ignored the little voice in his head reminding him that although all that was true, it wasn't the true reason. He ignored the voice reminding him of the empty apartment, the cold emptiness-
He shook his head hard, he needed to stay focused.

Whumptober day 31 - Experiment, Whipped, Left For Dead.
---
"That's weird," he muttered quietly, reaching out to touch the broken foliage. It was like something had crashed through the undergrowth. It didn't look big enough - or crazy enough - to be a deer, and yet was too big for most of the other animals who lived in the area. The path was straight, not an animal desperately running in fear, more like…
Shaking the thoughts away Tony started following the path of destruction. He had the feeling that most logical people would ignore it and preferably walk in the exact opposite direction… but Tony hadn't lived in the forest for this long without feeling a sense of responsibility for it, and if something was wrong he needed to know so that he could help.
"Shit." The swear escaped his mouth without any conscious thought, his blood freezing in his veins when he saw the crumpled child lying in front of him.
This was who had caused the damage in the undergrowth, this was who had been running through the woods.
Why was there a child in the woods?

Whumptober day 30 - Wound Reveal, Ignoring An Injury.
---
"Peter! You're hurt!" Tony gasped, pressing a gentle hand - which burned like Hell - against his side and frowning when it came away bloody.
"Oh yeah," Peter muttered, starting to feel dizzier than he should. "Surprise!" He wobbled on his feet a couple of times, his head too heavy for his neck to hold up, and everything too painful. How had he ignored this for so long? Back then it had barely been anything, but now it was like being stabbed with a pitchfork repeatedly.
"Ouch," he whispered, just as his eyes fluttered closed and he collapsed to the floor, the worried shouting of his family slowly fading away, until they disappeared all together.

Whumptober day 29 - Emergency Room.
---
The doors to the emergency room slammed open, Peter pushing it with more of his strength than he normally let out while pretending to be plain old Peter Parker. He was too scared for Tony to remember to hide anything. He didn't care what happened, as long as Tony was safe.
"Somebody help!" He all but screamed, his voice cracking.
A doctor who'd been walking past spun on his heel, sprinting over to where Peter was standing, still clinging to Tony who had passed out from the lack of oxygen. Just looking at Tony was enough to freeze the blood in his veins and cause a physical pain to appear in his chest. He needed to be strong, help Tony, but he had never felt less like a superhero, less like a responsible almost adult, than he did now.

Whumptober day 28 - Mugged.
---
"I don't know what you mean," Peter watched out the corner of his eye as someone emerged from the shadows and wandered closer. He couldn't see their face, but there was a certain arrogance in how they moved, how they spoke. Peter could tell they were not someone many people survived getting on the wrong side of. "I'm not keeping you here, you are as free to go as anyone else." Less than half a second after their words trailed off Peter heard the unmistakable noise of the safety on a gun being clicked off.
He was free to go at any moment, but there was a gun trained on his back - his spider sense tingling almost painfully - and the second he moved it would go off.
"I don't have anything with me," Peter tried, "just my school stuff. Nothing worth mugging."
"Who said I was a mugger?" they replied, and the thoughtful twinge to the words just doubled the fear in Peter's mind.

Summary
Whumptober day 27 - Earthquake.
---
Today the ground wasn't shaking because of any moving tectonic plates. It wasn't shaking in the normal, natural, way that it did on a pretty much weekly basis somewhere in the world.
Today it was shaking because of the massive robot which was running rampant through the streets. It was like some kind of movie plot, and while Peter was physically down on the streets in his Spiderman suit, helping heard everyone out of the robots path, mentally he was cured up in the corner of an empty room, rocking in place as he tried to figure out when his life became the plot of some awful knock-off Godzilla movie.

Summary
Whumptober day 26 - Migraine, Concussion.
---
It was probably because he was so focused on his friends conversation that it happened, or maybe it was just Peter really was that stupid, but his hand missed the rope on his next movement, his momentum still carrying him up even though the rest of him wasn't following it, and before he realised it he was falling.
Down.
Down.
The ropes weren't that high, only ten meters tops, but Peter had been almost at the top, and his foot got just tangled enough to send him falling backwards, his back making first collision with the not soft enough crash mat, with his head following shortly after.

Whumptober day 25 - Disorientation, Blurred Vision, Ringing Ears.
---
Peter ran out of school, glad to see that his dad was already there, looking around for him. Normally Peter walked home alone, Tony had long days - the downfalls of running his own company - and although they spent the evenings together, they rarely managed to find straight after school to spend time together.
But today was different. It was Peter's birthday, and Tony had promised to have the afternoon off so they could spend some quality time together, even if they did have to wait until after Peter finished school. He'd been given the choice of whatever he wanted to do, and Peter was going to make the most of it.

Whumptober day 23 - Exhaustion, Sleep Deprivation.
---
Peter blinked past the fuzziness filling his vision and leaned back in his chair, trying to look like he was just bored from going over covalent bonding in Chem for the sixth time - it really wasn’t that complicated, why were they not moving on yet? - rather than exhausted and sleep deprived. He hadn’t had a proper night's sleep for… he didn’t actually know. A long time. Not since the crime on Queens streets had increased, and he’d started having to stay out later and later in order to keep on top of it all. Every time he started heading back home Karen would alert him to a new crime, and he’d be off again, only finally leaving the criminals to the police when he absolutely had to head home in order not to be late for school.

Summary
Whumptober day 22 - Poisoned, Drugged.
---
"Come on in," the mysterious man grinned as he stepped away from the door, his voice deeper than Peter had expected when he arrived, even knowing what little he did about the man.
Oblivious to Peter's surprise, the man just continued waving Peter in and closing the door behind him. Peter shuffled his feet awkwardly. He knew he was in danger being here, the way the man had opened the door for him before he'd even had time to knock evidence enough of that. He should turn back, leave before he does one thing wrong and loses something important to him, but he couldn't turn back. Sure, he could accidently make some kind of deal and lose his soul if he stayed, but if he left he would never be able to find out if this man could help, and he needed to know if he could help.
