Summary
He and Katsuki have never really been close, which is really the root of Tenya’s current debacle. He watches how easily Kirishima and Kaminari are accepted into Katsuki’s orbit and he resents it. He wants it for himself, wants to be the center of Bakugou Katsuki’s universe. He watches as they casually touch the object of Tenya’s obsession, how they speak to him openly and carelessly. Their friendly banter and almost flirtatious conversation grates over Tenya’s nerves. Somehow, some way, they were able to force their way past Katsuki’s impenetrable walls and see the real him, at least part of it. Tenya knows that there’s more uncharted territory still left to be claimed and he obsesses about being the one to do it.

"Bakugou, I need to see if you're doing alright," Tenya says a bit louder.
This time, he hears the slight creak of bed springs and shuffling feet before the door opens to reveal a flushed, sweating Bakugou.
He just looks up at Tenya for a moment, eyes hazy. Some of his hair is plastered to his forehead and his lips look much drier than usual.
"Please let me in," Tenya repeats. "I'm going to help you feel better."
