Summary
Rosencrantz bridged the gap between them by taking a lock of hair at Guildenstern’s neck and twirling it between his fingers. Guildenstern fixed his gaze back on the stage in an effort to ignore it.
“I am fond of the opera boxes,” he clarified, hushed. “I like the way they’re—contained,” (intimate, he thought but didn’t say), “I could spend most of my life in an opera box.”
“Very healthy,” murmured Rosencrantz, distracted. He inched closer, closer, until his whisper came from beneath Guildenstern’s ear, breath hitting his neck. “I’d stay in it with you.”

Once Freddy’s situated, she turns her fresh face to Laurie– a stranger in her car. But the stranger smiles when Laurie shifts into gear.
Laurie ashes her cigarette and wonders about the woman in the passenger seat. Her preconceptions wobble and she feels just a bit off-kilter, in that exciting way you feel when you find a twenty in the gutter. Possibility at your fingertips while you look over your shoulder.

Freddy’s pulling a quicksilver series of faces, never more obvious than in moments like these; she’s too far gone to commit to being indignant, to keep herself to herself. Something squeezes inside Laurie at the inevitability of Freddy growing distant again, going to those places Laurie can’t follow.
laurie dimick is an older lesbian. freddy newandyke has been doing her best impression of a straight woman up until now: a lifetime of being deeply repressed and existentially troubled. she’s still an undercover cop. this will still end badly. but she’s now having earth-shattering sex for the first time in her life and she’s can’t stay away. an anthology of sex scenes cut from the longfic.

Summary
Freddy didn’t believe in love at first sight until he lived it.
Before he’d told that fucking commode story, all he could think about was how if he fucked up for even a second, he would die between one blink and the next. Joe Cabot already didn’t suffer fools gladly but he was a shoot first, ask questions never type if he thought a guy wasn’t on the level. Freddy had one chance and he’d known it.
But in the end it wasn’t hard at all. He’d kept his head and used his training, made sure to keep moving eye contact between all the guys, not giving in to the temptation to riff on a theme, but deep down he’d delivered the whole thing to the guy sitting to Joe’s left, who was wearing a shirt with a pattern he couldn’t see properly in the low light and who laughed at everything Freddy said like it was actually funny. He’d been the best audience Freddy had ever had.
“He’ll be working with you,” Joe had said to the guy, and the guy had looked Freddy up and down and smiled.
Freddy and Larry rob banks, share clothes, watch movies, and fuck around and find out.
Featuring: Mr Pink, Alabama, butches, the mob, the LAPD, the FBI, and Mr Pink’s mom.
