Post-masquerade flowersmith featuring absolute anonymity granting masks, Nom having a drunk freak out about having spent the night with (& all over) Sausage, Scott being incredibly himself, & just oh so much delicious, well-characterized sweetness.
Also: first kisses & 4C being incredibly himself as well (read: stealthy sneaky slime secretly tailing people for genuinely non-nefarious reasons).

Summary
Ever since Louis died, Owen’s nightmares have stayed consistent: a white-haired man with Louis’s face tied to a pyre and burnt alive, flames licking up the peeling wood of a building; screams, blood, claws, hell opening under him, hell opening within him. He’s memorised the settings he sees in these phantasmagoria: cobweb-filled forests, leviathan bodies of water, a walled town he fears atavistically, inexplicably.
His research of the place in his mind has matched with the description of the ancient, mythical town of Oakhurst. The one filled with vampires, if the myths are true.
Whoever’s given him this book can’t have seen what he dreamed of, can they? He opens it and coughs, flapping the dust out of his face.
At fifteen, Owen meets Louis, who changes his life.
At thirty-four, Owen lives a magically mundane life with Legundo, until a book shows up on his doorstep.

Modern/Reincarnation AU featuring domestic Bloodletting who are dealing with their traumas & extensive flashbacks to earlier in their current lives as they walk down paths similar, but different, to the ones seen in canon.
They learn about their past lives in Oakhurst & the New York Coven + Abolish make appearances, though Owen & Doc do not initially know that these people know them.
Absolutely heart wrenching, does an incredible job of giving these characters lives that echo their pasts & feel just as heavy & traumatic & allow them to become themselves, but with just enough changed for them to find gentler selves.

Canon divergence featuring Owen having the worst possible time actually getting hit with full of weight of the trauma he spent two centuries in the ground stuck at Anger trying to avoid, & Doc being incurably lovesick, hating himself for it, & being completely unable to deny Owen because he just wants Owen & wants to help him in anyway he possibly can give.
Also Pearl is a real bro for Owen while he’s drunk & suicidal & I love that for both of them.
Absolutely heart wrenching so far; slips between POV characters within chapters & even sections but does it in a fluid way that works better than I’ve seen done otherwise.

There’s a moment where the stillness creeps in around them, threatening to strangle Pyro until Abolish breaks it. “What’s your favorite color?”
“Green,” he answers quickly, grateful for the distraction, “Yours?”
Red, he knows before Abolish even opens his mouth, because he’s memorized everything he possibly could about the man next to him, down to the way his breathing fills the space and the slope of his shoulder inches from Pyro’s own.
The next question is unexpected, a fast switch up from casual to serious and said with no small amount of hesitation. "Do you trust me?"
Pyro doesn't even have to think before he says, "Yes."

Firelocke college au where Pyro & Abolish have a class together & Pyro catches feelings before even talking to him. Not that they’ll admit it; they can sleep with mean by actual emotional connection of a romantic nature is off limits due to how being raised catholic can fuck you up when you’re not looking. Also Abolish used to be an agent for the Organization but quit & is now in school.
Lovely prose with great dialogue & some awesome metaphors going on.

Summary
Jack von Pyroscythe appears to be an ordinary Phd student, working long hours, chronically tired, believes he is smarter then most people, but this seemingly average person has been having strange dreams. VERY strange dreams. Despite his his nighttime torment, he still tries to go about his life normally. But what happens when the people from his dreams appear in reality? And why do they make him feel all these emotions?
Firelocke and Treebark are in here as plot important ships, but it may take some time to get to them.
