Summary
The events of SFAWTDE and DAWTDE from the perspective of one Derek Hutchins.
They say your existence is marked by your achievements and people’s memories of you. Why would your name and who you were matter, if you were faced with the knowledge of everything? Why would ‘Derek Hutchins’ matter? Why would ‘Derek Hutchins’ exist in the grand scheme?
Derek fights these thoughts as he begins the Herculean task of steering the world to a not half-bad outcome, where the King fails to take over Derek’s body because Derek destroys his own mind.
