Summary
Leon’s a vampire—an outcast, much like Luis, but for different reasons. He never talks much about why his clan cast him out, just like Luis never talks about the pack that abandoned him. It doesn’t matter, really. They both know what it feels like to be unwanted, to be pushed aside because you don’t fit into the neat little boxes people want to put you in. But now, Luis feels like the outcast out of the two of them. The way Leon is able to hold himself in such a way—to control himself—makes Luis ache with envy and something else he can’t quite name.
or: a vampire and his werewolf roommate inevitably fall in love because of course they would.

Summary
He knows he feels something, something deep and strong for this woman, just as he always has. Yet now it is muddled, a thought being pushed to the far recesses of his mind where he only visits when he is not thinking of something else. Thinking of guns, thinking of lies, thinking of a man whom he must betray but now cannot bear the very idea of it. And now he should probably give his daughter back, for fear of dropping her because he wonders if finishing this is even an option.

Summary
In Leo’s fantasies, Vincent is rough.
To be fair, it’s not a huge stretch. He’s seen him hold his own in a fight, has seen him handle a gun like a pro and move fast as hell when he wants to. It isn’t hard to imagine that under his typical cool, calm demeanour, he’s got a fire in him that could burn Leo alive if he pushed hard enough.
And god, does Leo want to push.

As they evade the law yet again, Leo finds that it’s getting harder and harder to ignore how much he’s drawn to Vincent. He wants him--but it’s an impossible fantasy, and he isn’t going to let that ruin things between them.
