Truth of the matter is, Alice isn’t done with Gladys. Clearly she never was, despite what all those years in between then and now had her believing. Alice loved the life she built for herself, until it all came crumbling down, but she can’t deny how easy it was to fall back in with an old flame. So maybe she owes it to herself to at least try again for real. At the very least, she owes herself some fun, and if there’s anyone who knows how to have a good time, it’s Gladys Jones.

Without Neil’s stifling energy hanging over them, they can actually breathe now, and it’s made living together a hell of a lot more pleasant. Has made Billy more pleasant in general, even managing to pick up some friendships along the way in the forms of Steve and Robin and Jonathan. He hadn’t seen that coming. There was even Jane, who Billy looked at as more of another little sister.
